Manitoba allows 5-day notice for non-payment. Rent increases require 3 months notice and RTB approval if above guideline. RTB applications can be filed in person or online at: https://www.gov.mb.ca/cca/rtb/

Security Deposit
Security deposit capped at half a month's rent. Must be held in a trust account and returned within 14 days with interest.
Rent Increases Rent Controlled
Annual rent increase guideline set by Manitoba government. Landlord must give 3 months written notice before any rent increase.

- Non-payment of rent
- Breach of tenancy agreement
- Damage or undue wear
- Interference with enjoyment of other tenants
- Illegal activity
